See my blog on the Boldwood site today here, and look out for the “cover reveal” for The House Party tomorrow!
I am thrilled to announce that my next novel, The House Party, will be published by Boldwood Books in August 2020. The plan is for it to be published simultaneously as an ebook, paperback and audiobook in all the English-speaking jurisdictions on the same day. It’s with the copy editor at the moment, and I hope to be posting a cover reveal before too long. If you want to know more about the exciting publishing house which is Boldwood, simply click here to be taken to their website. Head over to my amazon author page for a short video of me talking about the new book.
Today I am featured on Chelle’s blog, answering questions about my writing and other things. If you head over there you’ll find news of my next book. Just click on this link.

Behind the Smile has a new cover! It features the Longstone, which is an important location in the story, and is designed to match the other novel covers. I hope you like it. Thanks, as ever, to Ryan of loveyourcovers.

My first novel, Free to be Tegan, is now available as an ebook in lots of other stores, as well as Amazon. Just search for it on Nook, Kobo, iBooks, Google Play, Scribd, or wherever you get your ebooks. And Catching the Light, which is free, is still available widely in all these places and many others. Both are also available at all Amazon stores and in paperback from various outlets.
“Holly’s Perfect Christmas?” is the concluding story of my short story collection “Making Changes”, and it’s available free at Amazon from 21 to 25 November in the UK here and in the US here . Holly has an idea for a dream Christmas with her partner in a cottage in Snowdonia. It is all planned, but then events start intervening and threatening to disrupt the idyll…
And if you’re interested in an audio book, there’s a promotion on Audible at the moment, where you can subscribe for half price for the first four months. You can listen to Catching the Light read by Petrina Kingham (see AUDIO on the line above underneath my name) as part of your subscription. Have a look here

On Wednesday 25 July I was the guest on Loisue’s Facebook Book Club, talking and answering questions about ‘Behind the Smile’, my other books and writing. Ifyou’re on Facebook you can catch the replay here: https://www.facebook.com/mary.grand/videos/2111340215792344/ (but skip the first five minutes which was just setting up)
Today I’m delighted to be featured on Linda’s Book Bag, an awatd-winning book review blog, talking about Behind The Smile. This will take you straight there: https://lindasbookbag.com/
Thank you the writer Judith Arnopp for letting me share this article. I stayed in this pub, Y Talbot, in the Cambrian Mountains when researching Free to Be Tegan. It’s an amazing story! Elephant in the Beer Garden
