Thia is a book I thoroughly enjoyed recently by one of my favourite authors. The pacing is perfect, with twists and turns all the way through. It combines brilliant plotting with complex, well-developed characters.
Stella is a wonderful protagonist: strong, determined, independent, and yet vulnerable. I loved the way she used her work as a dog behaviorist (fascinating in itself) to analyze and handle people.
A great read, highly recommended.

Free to be Tegan has a wonderful new cover! It is designed by Peter O’Connor of Bespoke Book Covers, and I think it is the best yet. My debut novel has been through two self-designed covers and one previous professional version, but with cover styles changing all the time it was right to have a refresh. The paperback features on the spine the beautful Welsh poppy painted for the original cover by my sister, Janet Nicholson.
